ABOUT ANGELA:
Angela utilizes an integrative approach of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Family Systems when working with clients. Her clinical areas of focus are substance abuse treatment for adolescents, adults, and families. Clients are provided a safe place to begin their journey of recovery.
Angela enjoys speaking publicly about the process of recovery. Her commitment to outreach in the community includes speaking at public school forums and fundraisers on the recovery process from substance abuse disorders and the effects of family dynamics. Angela is an inspiration to others and has been interviewed on the radio and the NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw.
Angela has over 20 years experience working with adolescents, adults and families facilitating change, hope, and inspiration. Her experience includes being the Clinical and Program Director for nationally recognized drug and alcohol treatment programs providing mental health and substance use disorder treatment for adolescents, adults and families. Angela has provided counseling to faculty, parents, and students within the Marin County High Schools for the nationally funded program “Every 15 Minutes.”
Angela is currently in private practice in Novato, C.A as a Marriage and Family Therapist MFT # 47082.
